Solid wood heavy oak very heavy. It very sturdy and it been been taken care of it was my grandmother's she used it to put her Thanksgiving dinner ware and silverware in ii and extra other things. She display nice china plates and champagne glasses on it she made it look very nice, it was a center piece in the dining room.
