Horse wanted: I am looking to buy a reliable horse for my young granddaughter's first horse. I will be patient in my search, in hopes of finding her equine soul mate. She wants a Paint, but all colors/breeds will be considered. I prefer a gelding not over 12 years old and not over 14.2 hands tall. This horse must be well broke and well mannered, that does not require a tune-up if not rode for several months. Must be sound and healthy. Must stand quiet for farrier and vet, and while tied and saddled. Must be traffic wise, and easy to catch in a large pasture. Absolutely no buck or kick, and not barn sour. If someone has a nice family horse that is no longer needed, I can provide an excellent home with ample pasture and shelter, and an easy life of light trail riding.
